In grammer scool I played trumpet. As I aged, I needed braces on my teeth. My band instructor told me "don't worry!" The next year I was playing a tuba(and ever since). The fingerings FROM THE TUNING NOTE WERE THE SAME, they were different sounding notes thats all. Recently I purchased a EEb tuba and started to freak out because the fingering were different to the BBb scale I was use to. I broke out the old Rubanks book and low and behold from the tuning note the fingerings were the same. My new (old....real old)horn is four valve, so I have some adjustments in playing style to make. So I hope I have made a valid point. If not I hope someone corrects me!
