Conn's 14K and 20K: Why so great??

Hi guys!! I was wondering why the Conn 14,20,24,36,40K Sousaphones are so great. I'm always reading the messages and you guys are always talking about the Conn Sousaphones. One that I am always reading about is the 14K and the 20K. If thier so great, I might consider actually buying a nice used one off eBay or something!! Convince me!!
