Hi folks,
Although I doubt anyone here remembers, I posted here a few times a few months ago. I am a 'native' trumpet player and at the time I had just transferred to playing euphonium for an honor band (and managed to get the second chair euphonium spot, thanks to your help). This evening a group that I perform with played Holst's Second Suite in F Major for a local ceremony. I enjoyed being able to play the solo euphonium part in the first movement for the performance and I hope to play it again sometime.
Anyhow, my question. I would like to find a recording of the Second Suite, but I am not sure if there is a "better" or "best" one I should look for, especially with regards to the euphonium part. If anyone can direct me to such a recording, I'd be grateful. If not, thanks anyhow.
