Well, he uses a 51D on his Euph - the "marching" mpc is definitely NOT a 51D, but it may still be too big for this horn. If changing mpc can do it, I'm sure he has lots to choose from.

My question really has to do with the fact that there appears to be a sharp break in the tuning. He reports that the notes just above the low Bb are OK - he says he can play a perfectly find Bb scale...except for the bottom note.

So...I'me sure that the right mpc will bring the low Bb up to pitch - but is it reasonable to expect that the *other* notes will *not* also rise in pitch? That would still leave him with a "missing note"?
