The "tenor tuba" and Euphonium are the same thing. It's just terminalogy.
It is logical to call the Euph a tenor tuba because of its range compared to the bass tuba (bbflat). This is much like the terminolgy used for voice. (ie suprano, alto, tenor, bass, contrabass (bbflat)
