What that would mean is that only people who are into e-bay would end up voting - hardly an accurate or fair way to determine what people really want to hear, I don't think. I wouldn't join e-bay just to vote on what I hear Saturday nights. Personally, I think that any artistic institution needs to do at least some amount of leading, and educating of their public. The trick, I guess, is not to be too preachy in the process. I think that Tilson-Thomas and the S.F. Symphony have done a very good job on this point.
