Most of my favorite material is not specifically written for tuba. Arbans trumpet edition, Pares Scales for horn, Pottag Studies for horn, Schlossberg trumpet book, Bach Cello Suites, Rochut trombone studies, etc. The only "tuba" books I use frequently are Snedecor, Blazevich, and Kopprasch. Although most of the music in those was originally written for a different instrument than tuba.

Good music is good music regardless of the medium the composer originally wrote it for. That is why learning to transpose and read multiple clefs is so rewarding.
