Non-brass music for practice?

Does anyone use non-brass music for their practicing? I keep a book of etudes that are good warm-up material, but almost none of them was written for tuba and many not for brass isntruments at all. Does anyone else do this or am I just very strange?

If anyone's curious, drop me an email and I'll email you a PDF of a Dragonetti etude for double bass, transposed to Eb (seems to work better in that key).

And did anyone hang onto the scales and arpeggios from the old Brassworld site? I've got them printed, but can't seem to locate the .zip files. They'd make great material for posting...
