Hey everybody:
I play a Daryl Smith Kalison, and love it. I am getting used to the intonation faults, but I have one major concern. My first line bass clef concert G is extremely flat. My other open notes are fine, but this G is horrendously flat. I am playing on a Denis Wick 3L, so I'm not sure if that could have something to do with it. My experience has been that my old high school mouthpieces do not seem to have the G quite as out of tune, but it may be psychological. Anyone have this particular "bad" note on the Kalison?
Thanks!
