Lee Stofer had the AGF Band in Atlanta get 4 Mirafone 4 valve Helicons with Detachable bells back in the early 90's. I think they made there way to one of the DC bands. I honestly can't say how they palyed as I remember playing one or two jobs on them and the commander wanting the Sousaphones back. They looked real nice though.
