Hey all,

I just got a call from a contractor needing to hire someone to play a part described on my answering machine as a "saxhorn piccolo" in the Berlioz Te Deum. What? I know this piece has 2 ophelclide parts but I didn't know anything about saxhorns in the score. I found a site where I downloaded a plugin and looked at the score. Under the horns, but above the trumpets was a stave for 4 instruments called... "S.....s" I didn't have the resolution to make it out. I'm thinking it may have been a stave for 4 saxhorns? It was in bass clef but I didn't see an indication of key or transposition. Any help here?
Anyone have a score to this they could glance at and drop me a line?

All input appreciated... thanks a lot
MJT
