These ideas are good, but I can't go anything above $2500, because there is no band budget to get the excess from. We only had a $5000 budget this year, and it's been all used paying for the other tubas, and band camp and other misc. repairs and consumables. This year's band trip requires people to either fund raise like crazy or pay for the trip in full, as the budget is not there.
The reason why it must be silver plate is because the other Dynasty tubas are all silver plate. It must be full size. My band director will not get a 3/4 size tuba to play, because when marching they are too clumsy.
