What tuba fits these criteria?

I'm after a small (size/weight) and relatively cheap 4 or 5 valve CC (3/4, 4/4) or EEflat tuba for a jazz trio, and would like a responsive, free blowing horn that can manage dynamic contrasts (ie speaks well at pp but doesn't break up at ff) and has a full low range and sweet mid/high range.

My post below asks whether a Cerveny Piggy might fit the bill.
For fast work, I prefer pistons (unless the rotors are really slick: such as on my PT6), but have never got used to front action.

I've played jazz on yamaha 321s and Besson 981/983s, and found them too lightweight (in terms of timbre). I love my Willson EEflat, but it's getting a bit much to carry (definately an unergonomic tuba for roving jazz work).

I don't want to spend too much (ie 5,000+) on a horn for the kind of work I'm doing, which is prone to dents.

Any suggestions/advice greatly appreciated.

Ian Easton (who would love to try out several horns, but no music store for 15,000km stocks them).
