Wow! That it is a great price. If only I was in the market for another serious horn... The best thing that I see about this horn is that it is still a BB-flat, no one has cut down to a CC. This is my own opinion, but every good BB-flat that has been cut down is a mediocre CC. I haven't played one of these Conns, but I just had that opportunity to play a rebuilt Holton (the model some people call "Howitzer"), and these big, old American tubas have a great sound and can really fill up a hall.
