Don't worry about bad teachers or good teachers because in a few years, there will be NO TEACHERS. Because of attitudes like yours and others, poor pay, bad administrators, snobby kids, parents who want nothing to do with their kids, etc., it's no wonder that no one is going into education. In our small state, there is still over 200 teaching jobs open. Since there is no certified teachers to fill these jobs, the schools will just put a warm body (hopefully with a pulse) just to have someone with the students. My kid's teachers both have over 30 years experience each and will be retiring within the next 5 years. There will be no one to replace them. I hope my kids can still get a quality education over the next 10 years.
