I play CC tuba because the tuba I liked palying the most was a CC horn. Now, since I know CC fingerings, and after college will likely never play BBb tuba again, wouldn't a CC euphonium be more convenient if i ever wanted to double? Assuming the ones available are of good quality.
CC tubas do not affect the sound of bands. If you can prove otherwise, please tell me. In the same way, why would a C euphonium not work in a band setting?
Would pitching the horn in C lead to more tuning problems?
I'm just genuinely curious.
