When I was studying at Temple, a couple of us went with Jay Krush to the Tuba Convention in Alexandria VA and there I tried many horns. I really enjoyed the sound and intonation of the Willson, and I appreciated the great big beasts of the past which some of those old holtons and conns were just amazing and onto the Meinl Westons which most of them seemed quite stuffy to me for some reason I was expecting something different but with the introduction of the MW2000 I am quite interested in playing that horn. I just wondered what you buffs all felt about the Willson, I really thought it played great and consistent in all registers. tell me what you think. Thanks
