Hi,
I'm looking to purchase an F tuba for solo, tuba ensemble, and brass quintet performance, and I was wondering what's out there as far as good intonation, response, and evenness in all registers are concerned. Or in other words, what is your favorite F tuba? I probably won't make a purchase for another year or so after trying as many horns as possible, so this post is just to get a general idea of where I need to start looking. I do know that I want a good professional caliber horn and that my price limit is pushing $9000.
