Hi everyone! I'm new. I want opinions and/or knowledge about auditioning, playing in, etc. an Army Band. I'm looking specifically at the Army Band program because of the incentives. I noticed some of you are in an Army Band and wanted to know about the general level of playing, difficulty of the audition, any info you have. Once you audition and pass, are you guaranteed a spot somewhere? Are musicians second-class citizens? That sort of thing. The dirt.
