Hello All,
After spending the last hour trying to hash my way through the 1st movement of the VW I decided to put on the Fletcher recording and play along. I few years ago I could play the 1st movement really well. After I played it a few times I decided to let myself play the 2nd movement. After playing this through four times I determined that I make much better music with the 2nd movement. This is my question. I have to play 5-10 minute excerpt for an audition I have next Saturday. Is the 2nd movement technically challenging enough to get by. The group I am auditioning for is a civic orchestra and there is only one other auditionee (sp). If it is a no on just the 2nd movement, what combination of the first and second could I play? As always, thank you in advance.
