Charlie provided a pretty extensive list of "reasons"...but neglected another possibility, these suppliers bought good quantities of the horns quite while ago, and the ones that are still left just aren't selling. This could be because the market is soft. But I gotta say that an informed buyer needs to consider that previous buyers, after play-testing the lot of them, left these horns for a reason. I think this is a more forgiving way to say it, rather than to simply say "they're leftovers" or "the stock's been picked over" even though we ALL talk that way and such phrases get the point across quickly.
