Where can I go to play/cuddle with/buy/admire some these tubas? I live in the California Bay Area, and I can probably go 150 miles or so (but not to Custom Music Corp). Also I read in some previous post (sean chrisham's?) that yamaha's are kind of like meinl-westons which are the opposite of cerveny, yorks, and miraphone.
Let me clear a few things up first: I play a yamaha YBB321 now, which, on paper is a 4/4, but is in actuallity larger than many 5/4. The guy who played this tuba before me went to Oberlin last year with a new PT-6. I am going into my senior year next year, not college. The reason I'm going for the "Jacobsian" sound is because my teacher learned from Arnold Jacobs and has a York copy himself.
