My son has been checking out a Meinl Weston F tuba, used, with an asking price of $7000. My knowledge of this line of tubas is fairly limited: I am only familiar the newer MW SLPs, etc., that have new prices in the $5k+ range.
My question: Are there older (or better) MW F tubas that warrant a $7000 price, used?
