Between laquer and Silver finish tubas?
I am considering a new VMI 3301. Does this AWESOME Tuba really need the help of Silver?
I will be playing mainly Dixie on it. I understand that Silver makes the sound brighter. I also understand that the VMI sounds like a CC. Which is great! Just wondering what you guys would buy, and if silver is all it is cracked up to be. Oh, I used to play on a Conn 24J with the 4 short action top valves.
