I'd appreciate (and maybe so would much of the BBS audience) tips on military band auditions from those people who have actually won them. I currently feel much more educated in the area of orchestral auditions. What else besides the different rep and sight-reading dominate the auditions? Perhaps some of Sean's current partners in crime could chime in, too.
Personally, I feel I know how good everything has to go to actually win, so comments beyond general level of preparation would be much appreciated. What did you do during preparation?
