Does it occur to anyone that U.M.I. could really do something interesting if they used their (mothballed, but available) .734" bore long-action 36K (sousaphone) front-action valveset or even their (current production) .734" front-action/short-action valveset in the construction of their newly modified one-piece bell instruments?

From a marketing desirability standpoint - even if the bore size increase from .687" to .734" made no appreciable difference in the response of the instrument - wouldn't quite a few more people be drawn towards considering these for purchase?
