I purchased a Kalison in 1996. I paid $6500 for the horn, unitec case, and gig bag. The people at the Tuba Exchange told me that tubas keep their value. Now I am trying to sell it and everyone tells me I would be lucky to get $3500 for everything! I can see losing $1000 but $3000? Is this just for Kalisons, or is this happening all over?
