At this very moment, I am consuming webspace. However, in the interest of conserving future electrons, I have a suggestion for a self-test , in order to qualify for considering asking questions regarding:

-lacquer vs. silver
-BBb vs. CC // EEb vs. F
-BAT vs. gnat
-rotary vs. piston
-mouthpieces A - Z, vs. mouthpieces .007 - 9,999,999.999
-brand X vs. brand Y vs. brand Z
-which foreign object(s) to attach to the instrument's exterior
-colleges to be considered
-disputes with musical collegues / conductors

The following is the self-testing question:

Within a timespan of ten minutes, can I (the self-tester) demonstrate the ability to play all 12 major scales in two octaves up-and-down plus all three standard forms (36 additional scales, total) of minor scales in two octaves up-and-down, and free of fingering and sound production errors?

If the answer to the self-testing question is "No", perhaps any opinions regarding all of the other topics above are moot.
